Cabo Real is a target-style corridor course: desert foothills and ridge-top fairways on one nine, then holes that tumble toward the Sea of Cortez on the other. Jones recast an existing front nine; the short par-4 5th plays across an arroyo toward the beach and is the hole the club still highlights.
Three oceanfront holes put the course on TV during the PGA Senior Slam (1996 and 1999). Small, elevated greens and free-form bunkers sit against the Sierra de la Laguna.
